PT Jasa Raharja and Universitas Sumatera Utara had signed a MoU on Thursday 9th February 2023, in the Rector’s Audience Room. On this signing event is from the PT Jasa Raharja side represented by the director of Jasa Raharja, Munadi Herlambang, The head division of institutional relations Radito Risangadi, and the Head of PT Jasa Raharja Sumatera Utara Side, Tamrin SIlalahi. USU’s side represented by the rector of USU, Dr. Muryanto Amin S.Sos., and vice rector 3 of USU Prof. Dr. apt. Poppy A.Z. Hasibuan, M.Si.
PT Jasa Raharja is a BUMN (Country Enterprise) in the field of social insurance which is already regulated by law and has a Syariah concept. USU as the target, is motivated by the low level of traffic safety in North Sumatra, both private and public.
There were many cooperation that will be planned by both side, like internship, global competition, scholarship, MBKM, and the students can doing field research and socialize with PT Jasa Raharja, also have a new event called “BUMN Goes to Campus”, the main agenda of this event is Hackathon, Antonomous race, virtual risk race with Amazon where the participant is students.
