Tentang Tujuan
Program ini juga merupakan salah satu komitmen Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) dalam mencapai Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Berdasarkan latar belakang dalam upaya mendorong pola konsumsi dan produksi yang bertanggung jawab di Indonesia. Dalam era globalisasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang pesat, pola konsumsi yang tidak berkelanjutan telah menyebabkan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan dan sumber daya alam. Program ini bertujuan untuk mendorong gaya hidup berkelanjutan dan mempromosikan praktek produksi yang ramah lingkungan di Indonesia. USU aktif berperan dalam mengedukasi mahasiswa, staf, dan masyarakat tentang pentingnya konsumsi yang bertanggung jawab, pengelolaan limbah yang efisien, dan penerapan teknologi hijau dalam produksi. Melalui kerja sama dengan mitra eksternal, USU juga berupaya untuk mengembangkan inovasi dan solusi yang mempromosikan konsumsi dan produksi berkelanjutan di berbagai sektor, termasuk industri, pertanian, dan pariwisata.
