PROFILE OF USU SDGs CENTER
Indonesia has a strong commitment to achieving the targets of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Therefore, support from all stakeholders is needed for the implementation of effective policies and programs to achieve the SDGs. As one of the institutions which directly involved in its achievement, the university plays a strategic role in increasing the credibility of policies and programs independently.
The Center for the Studies of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs Center) at the University of Sumatera Utara (USU) is an institution that plays a strategic role in assisting Indonesia to achieve the SDGs/SDGs by 2030. The USU SDGs Center is a forum to conduct multi-disciplinary research related to SDGs at the global, national and local. The USU SDGs Center also facilitates capacity building to increase the analytical capacity of academics, policy makers from the national and local levels related to the SDGs. In addition, the USU SDGs Center can assist in acceleration to national and local governments to achieve SDGs.

To become an excellent center of studies in accelerating the achievement of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
